SaveOff Privacy Policy

Summary

• No account and no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
• Links you paste are sent to our server only to find the downloadable media; we do not store them with your identity.
• Downloaded files stay on your device.
• We show ads through Google AdMob and measure app usage with Google Firebase Analytics.
• We never sell your personal data.

Data we process

Links you submit. When you tap Download, the link is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which returns the media files available at that link. Server logs (link, time, IP address) are kept for up to 14 days for abuse prevention and troubleshooting, then deleted.

Files you save. Media is downloaded directly to your device and, if you enable it, copied to your photo gallery. We do not upload your files anywhere.

Usage and diagnostics. Firebase Analytics collects app events (for example "download completed"), device model, OS version, app version, approximate country and an app-instance identifier. This helps us improve the app and measure our advertising.

Advertising. Google AdMob may collect the Advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, we ask for your choices through Google's consent form. You can change them any time in Settings → Privacy & ad choices, and reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android settings.

Purchases. Premium is purchased through Google Play. Payments are processed by Google; we only receive confirmation that your purchase is active.

Invites. To count friends you invite and grant free Premium, the app sends our server a one-way hash of the device identifier (Android ID) and the invite code from the install link. It is not linked to your name or account and is used only for the invite program and to prevent abuse.

Notifications. Download progress and occasional reminders are generated on your device. You can turn them off in Android settings.

Children

SaveOff is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to processing. Because we do not link data to your identity, most data can be removed by uninstalling the app and resetting your Advertising ID. For any request, contact us.
